Peter Benjamin Parker is a high school student from another universe who gained spider-like abilities, fighting crime across New York City as the alter ego Spider-Man.

Venom and Eddie Brock see him on a television screen when they traveled to his universe. Some time later, his enemy Adrian Toomes travels to the prime universe and recruits Michael Morbius to fight Spider-Man.

Behind the scenes

• Tom Holland did film a scene as Peter Parker, not Spider-Man, for Venom. When Marvel saw the movie, they insisted Holland's scene be removed.
• In a few of the trailers for Morbius, graffiti of Spider-Man can be seen on a NYC wall. This was cut from the final film.
